사이먼 앤 가펑클(Simon and Garfunkel)은 폴 사이먼과 아트 가펑클이 구성한 미국의 2인조 음악 그룹이다.

폴 사이먼과 아트 가펑글은 어린 시절 친구사이였으며, 1960년대에 큰 명성을 얻었다.

 

대표곡으로는 (The Sound of Silenc), (Mrs. Robinson), (Bridge over Troubled water),등이며,

이 곡들은 모두 폴 사이먼에 의해 작곡된 것이다.

 

사이먼 앤 가펑클이 1981년 진행했던 뉴욕 센트럴파크 무료 공연은, 약 50만명의 관객을 동원하며 역사상 가장 큰 공연으로 기록되어 있다.

 

올드팬들에겐 아직도 향수로 남아서...

아마도 오래도록 기억될 불후의 명곡들,그리고 그들만의 아름다운 하모니

영원히 기억 될 것입니다.
