아메리카인디언의 기원에 관해서는 대별하여 구대륙으로부터의 이주설(移住說)과
신대륙 독립발생설의 2가지 설이 있다.
구대륙으로부터의 이주설도 초기에는 노아의 자손 또는 아틀란티스에 살았던
주민의 자손이라는 설이 있었다.
한편 독립발생설은 아르헨티나의 인류학자 아메기노가 주장한 것으로 이것도
인디언뿐만 아니라 전인류 발생의 고향을 아메리카로 보는 설이다.
처음에는 많은 지지를 얻었으나 그 근거가 되는 인골(人骨)이 전부 최근의
인디언의 것으로 판명되어 결국 소멸하였다.
신대륙에서는 유인원(類人猿)은 물론 오스트랄로피테쿠스·시난트로푸스와 같은
원인(原人), 네안데르탈인과 같은 구인(舊人)의 뼈는 발견되지 않아 현재로는
플라이스토세(世)의 말기에 아시아로부터 건너온 몽골로이드의 자손이
아메리카 인디언으로 되었다는 구대륙으로부터의 이주설이 정설로 되어 있다.
이주시기는 현재의 자료에서 판단하여 적어도 2만 년 전부터 시작되었으며
그 후 파상적으로 수차에 걸쳐 이주한 것으로 추정되나, 이것을 뒷받침하는
인류학적 근거는 브라질에서 파타고니아에 걸쳐서 장두(長頭)의 특징을 가진
일련의 인디언이 보여주는 제1파(波), 돌출한 광대뼈와 저신장(低身長)·
단두(短頭)의 몽골인종적 특징을 가진 일련의 인디언이 보여주는 제2파,
북아메리카의 인디언에서 볼 수 있는 단두·고신장(高身長)의 몽골인종과는
다른 형질(形質)을 나타내는 제3파이다.
구대륙에서 신대륙으로의 이주경로는 베링해협과 알류샨열도로 추측된다.
플라이스토세는 빙하시대로서 빙하의 규모도 현대보다 훨씬 크고,
또 그것이 여러 번 극북(極北)에서 내습해왔으므로 대량의 해수(海水)가
얼음이 됨으로써 해면(海面)의 하강이 100 m에 이른 것으로 추정된다.
이 해협의 깊이는 50 m 이내이므로 신·구 대륙간에는 육교가 만들어져
이주자의 대부분은 배를 이용하지 않고 이 경로를 통해 신대륙에 와서
흩어진 것으로 추정되고 있다.(네이버지식)

끝으로 뉴에이지 음악이라기보다는 말그대로 인디언 음악을 골랐습니다
97년에 발표된 앨범으로 여러인디언부족의 노래와 플룻연주가 수록 되어
있습니다..

아름다운 선율을 기대하시는 분들에게는 추천하고싶지 않구요..
대신 리얼하고 자연스러운 실제 인디언부족의 노래에 관심이 있으시면
들어보시기 바랍니다. .
2 CD로 구성된 앨범의 첫번째 CD는 정제되지않은 여러부족 들의 노래가
있습니다..
의식이나 전쟁등 각종 행사때 부르는 노래와 전래된 그대로의
민요라 할수있습니다...
인디언밥 아바바바바 의 원음이죠...

두번째 CD는 실감나는 플룻연주가 수록되어 있습니다..
실제 인디언들의 현장감나는 연주들이고 첫CD와는다르게 약간의 효과도
포함되어있습니다..
인디언 구전 음반중 녹음상태도 좋고 특히 두번째CD플룻연주때문에
골라봤습니다..

인디언 음악들....특히 그정신을 이어받은 후예들과 뉴에이지 아티스트
들에의해 멋지게 세상에나온 음악들이 상당히좋고 많음에도 그다지
알려지지 않은것 같아서 시리즈로 올려 봤습니다..
북미인디언들....서부영화에 멋진 전사로 등장 했다가 쇠망한 원주민
이라는 의식너머로 심플하면서도 심오한 정신세계와 비밀스런 신비가
무한하다는 생각을 해봅니다..

주관적인 취향으로 고른 앨범 들이지만 인디언 혼의향기는 미약하나마
느끼리라 생각합니다..
즐겁게 감상 하시고 삶이 가벼워지길 빕니다.
