한동안, 가는 곳마다 이 노래가 들리던 시절이 있었다.
내 학번dl 68007이므로 이 노래 또한 68년 이후인, 68~69년쯤에 나온 것 같다.
지금 들어 보니, 떠들석하고 시끄럽긴 매일반 인데다 그리 흔들 일도 없어보이는 데
첨 나온 그땐, '음악다방' 신청곡 영순위였다. - 영샘이 동생 영순이 말구... ㅋ
그레서 추억의 노래다. 이곳 '왕자'님도, '정상'님도 한번씩 올렸던 노래이기도 하고...

Billy Davis Jr.와 친구 2명등 남자 셋, 지역 재능대회 수상자인 Marilyn McCoo등 여자둘.
이러한 구성으로 1965년 L.A.에서 결성된 혼성 5인조 보컬이다.
초기에는 Versatiles 라는 이름으로 활동하다, 우리에게도 잘 알려진 가수 겸 제작자
Johnny Rivers 를 만나 5th Dimension (휩스 디멘션)으로 개명, 일약 성공가도에 오르게 된다.
이곡은 1969년 발표되어, 72주동안 차트에 랭크. '69년은 그들의 "빛나는 해"가 된다.
그래미상 수상에 빛나는 이들의 노래. "Aquarius/ Let The Sunshine In"
음악성과 격정이 최정점에 오른 이 곡은 Broadway Musical "Hair" 와
한국에도 개봉된 영화"포레스트 검프-Forrest Gump" (1994)의 삽입곡이기도 하지요.
