The Queen Of Sheba(시바의 여왕 ) / Paul Mauriat   When Hollywood took                            When Hollywood took over the story  of Solomon and the Queen of Sheba In December 1959 was released                                       the movie on the story of Solomon and the Queen of     Sheba                                                     Gina Lollobrigida as Sheba                   The role of the Queen was played by the gorgeous  Italian actress, Gina Lollobrigida,                      and the King Solomon by Yul Brynner                                        (who replaced Tyron Power who first played the role by died during the shooting).                                             Other Sheba portrayals         The story of the Queen of Sheba                                               was a source of inspiration for a great number of painters.  Here, you can see a detail of the painting                  which describe the visit of Sheba to King Solomon.                     The apinting is from Sir John Poynter, an English artist. A more recent picture                      Queen of Sheba is still influencing artists nowadays , here above you can see a modern portrayal       of the Queen as a very attractive woman who   seems able to master even the lions.
