웨일즈 접경지대인 슈롭서(Shropshire)주의 화산 지방에서 태어났다.
영국의 명문 길드홀 음악 학교 졸업 후,
팝페라로 전향, Izzy(본명: Isobel Cooper)라는 예명으로 유명 작곡가의 파퓰러한 작품들을 편곡하여 노래하였다.

93년 18살의 나이에 Guildhall Music School에서 개최한 Junior Guldhall SingingPrize 상을 수상한 바 있는 그녀는

 독특한 음색과 파워있는 보이스를 인정 받으면서 영국의 줄리어드로 거론되어지는 Guildhall Music School에
들어가 음악과 드라마를 공부하게 된다.

팝페라계의 신데렐라로 불리우고 있는 이지는 팝페라의 Diva로서 많은
사람들로부터 사랑을 받으며 한층 개성있고 자신감 넘치는 음악을 들려 준다.
