1978년에 발표된 Maxine Nightingale의 'Lead Me on'
학창시절부터 스쿨밴드에서 노래를 부르기 시작한 Maxine Nightingale은
이후 R&B 가수이면서 뮤지컬 배우로도 이름을 알렸다.
1975년 J.Vincent Edward와 Pierre Tubbs라는 작곡팀에 합류하고
그 해 'Right Back Where We Started From'을 발표하며 가수데뷔를 하게 되는데
이 곡이 영국에서 Top10에 진입하게 되고 미국에서도 어느 정도 인지도를 쌓게 된다
