 Bob Dylan과는 달리 독특하고 매력적인 저음의 맑은 목소리에 내면의 철학적인 가사를 담아 시를 읊조리듯

 자신이 뜻하고자 하는 메세지를 전달했던 Eric Anderson의 대표작입니다.

 

이 시기에 있어서의 그에 대해서는 그리니치 빌리지를 중심으로 활동했던 60년대 후반에 비해 상업적인 때가

많이 묻었다는 비판도 있었지만 아이러니하게도 음악적으로는 가장 완성도가 높다는 평가도 함께 했지요.

 

그의 맑은 저음에 얹혀진 숨이 막힐 정도의 아름다움과 고독, 슬픔, 삶과 인생의 무상함에 대한 진지한 고찰이

 어우러진 70년대 포크록을 대표하는 훌륭한 유산 중 하나이며 '할 수 있는 일이라곤 음악 밖에 없었다'라는
