에벌리 브라더스(Everly Brothers)는 50년대의 초기 로큰롤 역사에 있어서 가장 중요한 위치를 차지하고 있을 뿐 아니라,

후대의 록커들에게도 지대한 영향을 미쳤다.

두 형제의 하모니가 조화를 이룬 숱한 로큰롤, 컨트리, 팝 넘버들은 누구와 겨루어도 지지 않을 만한 것이었다.

돈(Don, 1937년 2월 1일 출생)과 필(Phil, 1939년 1월 19일 출생)은 기타리스트였던 아버지 덕에

아주 어렸을 때부터 기타를 연주하기 시작하였으며,

채 10살이 되기도 전에 아이오와의 라디오 방송국에 가족과 함께 출연해 노래를 부르기도 하였다
