1945년 디트로이트 출생인 "밥 시거"는 1970년대와 1980년대 미국 락 뮤지션으로 이름을 날렸던 인물이다.
1960년대 "Bob Seger and the Last Heard"이라는 밴드를 결성하여 본격적인 활동을 개시한 그는

1966년 싱글 "East Side Story"를 발표했고, 1969년 "Ramblin' Gamblin' Man"를

빌보드 싱글차트 17위에 올리며 주목받기 시작했다.

 

1980년 "Against The Wind"를 앨범차트 1위에 올리면서 그래미를 수상했고, "Against The Wind"를 빌보드 싱글차트 5위, "Fire Lake"를 6위, "You'll Accomp'ny Me"를 14위, "Tryin' To Live My Life Without You"를 5위에 올리며

전성기를 맞았다.

 

 빌보드 싱글 차트 최고 성적은 1987년 "Shakedown"으로 1위에 오른 것인데, 2004년 히트곡 모음집으로

앨범차트 23위에 오른것을 제외한다면 이번 앨범은 1995년 이후 첫 앨범차트 진입이며 1991년 "The Fire Inside"로

 앨범차트 7위에 오른 이후 최고의 성적이다.
