6인조 혼성 보컬 모세다데스(젊은이들)가 1973년 ‘유로비전 송 콘테스트’에 스페인 대표로 참가하여 2위로 입상한

 곡입니다.

 

Eres tú는 ‘그대는’이란 뜻. 이 곡은 곧 ‘Touch the Wind'란 부제를 붙여 미국에서 발표되어 빌보드 싱글 차트에서

 9위까지 올랐는데, 스페인어로 부른 노래가 빌보드 싱글 차트 톱텐에 들어간 것은 처음이라고 합니다.

미국에서의 히트를 시작으로 'Eres Tú'는 우리나라에도 알려져 라디오 엽서 신청곡으로 한때 큰 인기를 끌었습니다

 

[뱀다리] 이 곡은 대학생 코러스 ‘상투스’가 78MBC대학가요제에서 ‘그대 있는 곳까지’란 제목으로 불러 입상하였는데,

 그 번안 가사가 완전 엉터리에다 생뚱맞기까지 합니다.

또한, 이 노래가 팝송이라는 유래를 모른 채 과거 가톨릭 일부 본당에서 청년미사 전례 중에 연주되어 물의를 빚은 바

있으며, 개신교 일부 교회에서도 이 노래가 ‘원래 주님을 찬양하는 가스펠곡’이라고 그릇 소개되어 불려지기도 하였답니다. 에구구 해프닝입니다만, 그만큼 이 노래가 사람들의 귀를 끄는 매력이 있다는 것을 말해주는 것이기도 하겠죠~
