티나 터너(Tina Turner, 본명:Anna Mae Bullock, 1939년 11월 26일 ~  )는 미국의 싱어송라이터이자 배우이다.

 

데뷔한 지 50년이 넘은 중견가수이며, 많은 상을 받았다. 로큰롤의 여왕(The Queen of Rock 'n' Roll)이라고 불린다.

남편인 '아이크 터너'와 함께 'Ike & Tina Turner Revue'로 데뷔했으며, 1971년에는 'River Deep,

 

Mountain High','Proud Mary'로 큰 성공을 거두었다. 또한 1983년에 발표한 'Let's Stay Together'를 통해

 

솔로로도 성공하였다.

또한 1975년에 출연한 영화 'Tommy'를 통해 배우로서도 성공하였다.

히트곡인 'We Don't Need Another Hero'은 아카데미상 베스트 음악상을 받았다.

1993년 영화 '라스트 히어로 액션'에도 출연한다.

 

티나 터너는 전 세계에서 가장 성공한 여성 락커이며, 롤링스톤지에서도 '이 시대의 가장 위대한 뮤지션' 중 한 명이라고

칭했다.

지금까지 2억 장이 넘는 판매고를 올렸으며, 콘서트에서도 파워풀한 보컬과 화려한 퍼포먼스로 대중들로부터 사랑을

받았다.

 

2008년부터 50주년 기념 콘서트인 'Tina!: 50th Anniversary Tour'을 하고 있으며, 2009년 하반기까지

 이어진다고 한다. 

 2005년에는 전 미국 대통령인 조지 부시를 만나 면담했다. 또한 이번 티켓 판매율은 2년 동안 가장 높은

 판매고를 보이고 있다.
