오랜 무명 기간을 거쳤을 뿐이지 신인이라고 하기에는 너무도 능숙한 작곡과 연주를 들려주는 팀인 만큼

화이트 플레인 티즈가 어렵게 손에 넣은 기회를 쉽사리 날려버릴 것 같지는 않다.

꾸준하게 하고 싶은 음악을 해왔고, 음악을 통해 자신의 삶을 보여주는 것을 두려워하지 않는 팀이기에 앞으로 훨씬

 더 거대하게 발전할 가능성이 크다는 것이다.

 

사실 ‘Hey There Dililah’의 히트 이후에 그 노래의 팬들을 그대로 흡수하기 위해서는 앨범에 수록된 곡들 중에서

비슷한 노래들을 골라서 자신의 입지를 굳히려는얄팍한 수작을 부릴 수도 있겠지만, 우직하게 연주하는 자신들이

즐거운 음악을 다음 싱글로 정하는 것만 보아도 이들이 단순히 ‘한 곡 장사’로 끝나버릴 밴드가 아니라는 것은

분명해진다.

 

 ‘멜로’에서 ‘코미디’까지 고루 소화해내는 보기 드문 밴드 인만큼, 화이트 플레인 티즈가 쇼 비즈니스에 닳고 오염되지 않은 채 더 신선한 음악으로 더 큰 사랑을 받길 기원해 본다.
